This is one of topic area that I like to research and write some kind of blog .I' thinking about this last few months and I haven't get enough time for this .How ever now I got chance to share my research details with you.This is the only what I found .If I was wrote or there is new technology for replace this please let me know
Hawk Eye
Dr.Paul Hawkins developed this technology.This technology not only use in Cricket but also use in tennis ,football .This is very trusted tool in sports than other electronic tools,because it's accurate with in 5 mm range.
This is originally made for tracking missiles and also for brain surgery.
Hawk eye get data from 6 high performance cameras in the ground.It detect ball when it release from the hand of blower until ball goes to dead.Each position is recorded from each camera when ball pass that camera.This by using these data system generate 3D image or animation to show the path of the ball.

This can get more accurate speed of the ball and direction and also swing of the ball.And also system can predict future path that ball traveled.This technology will help to take decisions about LBW decisions .And also in blower pitch map,wagon wheel ,bounce of the wicket also can generate by using this technology

LED wicket system
These flashing wicked called "Zing wicket system".It's invention of Bronte EcKermann, an Australian mechanical industrial designer, and created by South Australian manufacturer Zing International.
These bail has microprocessor and it detect both end of bails dislodged from the stumps and flash with in 1/1000 of second.Then it send radio signal to stumps for flash it.For this tactile sensor attached at the end of bails and also top of the stump.Power is supply by using low voltage battery include in bails and stumps

How to measure Speed of the ball

This gun use principle of Doppler effect and this can determine exact speed with out error and also it can work efficient .Therefore it recorder speed immediately after the blower delivers the ball.And also by using Hawk eye also speed of the ball can be measured.

Snicko
Snicko or snickometer is contain very sensitive microphone built in stumps, connected to an oscilloscope that measures sound waves. When the ball nicks the bat, the oscilliscope trace will pick up the sounds. At the same time, a high speed camera records the ball passing the bat. Then this oscilloscope's out put and camera out put combine and check is their any nick when ball pass the bat.
Hotspot
This is another wonderful technology that we can see these days cricket field.This system normally use 2 infrared cameras at opposite ends,but nowadays we can see more than 2 cameras use for get data.
When ball hits the bat or pad it generates heat due to friction and these IR cameras can pick these heats If you see this carefully you can see not only friction but also spots that generates more temperature like faces and hands also can see more brighter color when we see these hotspot images

How to measure Distance of six
How to calculate massive six just after hit it over the park ? By using meter tapes? If it's like that it will take for ever to measure a six.After surfing few hours across the internet and I came up with 2 acceptable methods
- Using projectile
- Using hawk eye
Using projectile
In this method they use angle of ball and speed when it going from the bat.By using projectile formula broadcasters can measure the distance of six
d=v2sin(2θ)/g
Where
d= distance of six
v= velocity at the time when ball going from bat
g= 9.8 ms-2θ= angle of the ball when it release from the bat
Velocity can be measured by using radar gun same as measure speed of ball

Using Hawk eye
Hawk eye use six high performance cameras .therefore it can predict future path of ball and speed so I think that method also applicable for measure the distance of six .I already explain about Hawk eye technology earlier so you can refer that one also.
